Shocking Recording Reveals Point Law Enforcement Get Knifed in Surprise Attack

The Two Senior Officers Instants Prior to the Assailant Received Electric Shock

A police sergeant who rushed to the aid of a partner that was assaulted by a knife attacker received the Monarch's Honor for Valor.

Sergeant Tim Ansell fought with twenty-seven-year-old Jacob Brown subsequent to he held a weapon to the neck of his colleague Sergeant Marc Foster.

Brown began the violence as the policemen and their third officer, Police Constable Marcus Wolstencroft, were talking to a driver after a vehicle incident in that location in mid-2023.

Brown attacked with blade both Sgt Ansell and Sergeant Foster before Police Constable Wolstencroft stopped him with a stun gun.

"Policeman stabbed," PC Wolstencroft stated over his radio.

Bodyworn and vehicle camera recording released by the force depicted Brown, that was clothed in black with a hood up, rush to Sergeant Foster from behind with a weapon extended.

He ran into the policeman who tripped and dropped to the ground, before Sergeant Ansell stepped in and tried to wrestle him to the pavement even though being repeatedly struck with the weapon.

PC Wolstencroft drew his Taser and waited for a open target, bringing the fight to an conclusion.

Sergeant Ansell stated audibly: "I need help on my neck here, I've been stabbed in the neck."

Sgt Ansell received two open wounds to his neck and additional wounds to his limbs and torso, whereas Sergeant Foster suffered knife wounds.

Officials reported Sergeant Foster employed his hands to stop his fellow officer's hemorrhaging prior to paramedics came.

This most recent recognition follows subsequent to the law enforcement team won internal Bravery Awards in late 2023 and the prestigious bravery honor from the regional officer association in spring 2024.

They were also awarded a Regional Valor Recognition in mid-2024.

"The actions of each policeman in the end saved one another and ensured no bystanders suffered any wounds."

Brown was sentenced to an indefinite hospital order in spring 2024, per the department.
